Pregnancy Yoga- 6 week Course


During a 6 week pregnancy yoga course, you will learn ways to keep your body strong throughout each stage of pregnancy, how to relax the mind and body in preparation for birth and breathing techniques to support you through labour. We will also discuss the importance of the pelvic floor during pregnancy and the post natal period.

I am able to provide equipment for the sessions. However if you would rather use your own, please come prepared with a mat, block, cushion and blanket for your own comfort.

These sessions are 2:1, I aim to match you with someone at a similar point of pregnancy to you (although this is not always possible). We then form a WhatsApp group so if you need to rearrange a session one week or you are running late its easy to let us know. You are also welcome to use this group to ask any questions you have about pregnancy or the postpartum period. If I can’t help you, I will always aim to find someone who can!

PLEASE NOTE: If your baby arrives before the end of the course or you are advised by a medical professional to stop exercising prior to your due date, you will be offered a refund for the sessions you can no longer attend. You are welcome to join this pregnancy yoga course after your 12 week scan and right up until your due date. All participants will need to fill in a PAR-Q to say they are clear to exercise during pregnancy. If you are high risk, you will also need your midwife to sign off on this.
