Mum & Young Baby Yoga- Tuesday 11:30am


Our next Mum & Baby Yoga class in Shepton Mallet starts on Tuesday 15th September and runs for 6 weeks until the 20th October.

The 6 week block costs £48 (£8 a session).

Dates: Tuesday 15th, 22nd, 29th Sept, 6th, 13th, 20th Oct.

Places for the next block will be released a week before it’s due to begin.

Please note, due to Covid safety measures you will need to bring your own yoga mat and any other props you’d like to use during the session. Wipes will be provided to wipe down your area at the beginning and end of each session. Please do not attend if you have any coronavirus symptoms. Classes run for 50 minutes to allow 10 minutes of cleaning between sessions. Please leave the sessions promptly. There will be a one way system in operation at the building we are using.

What is mum & baby yoga and who is it for?

This class is for postnatal mothers and their babies during the first year, and will focus on mums regaining fitness after birth. In these sessions, we will focus on re-toning the core and strengthening the pelvic floor. Sessions will also include an element of relaxation/meditation – some much needed ‘me time’ in that first year! The bonus of these classes is there is no need for child care…your baby comes too. Please make sure you bring a comfortable surface to lay your baby on (a blanket) and their favourite toys to keep them occupied. There will be some opportunities during the class for your baby to join in too (optional) but please note you are always responsible for your own baby during these sessions.

If you need to stop to settle, feed or change your baby then please go right ahead, these classes are relaxed and fun, making them perfect for both mum & baby.
