What is mum & baby yoga and who is it for?
This class is for postnatal mothers and their moving babies during the first year and beyond, and will focus on mums regaining fitness after birth. In these sessions, we will focus on re-toning the core and strengthening the pelvic floor. Sessions will also include an element of relaxation/meditation – some much needed ‘me time’! The bonus of these classes is there is no need for child care…your baby comes too. Please make sure you bring a comfortable surface to lay your baby on (a blanket) and their favourite toys to keep them occupied. There will be some opportunities during the class for your baby to join in too (optional) but please note you are always responsible for your own baby during these sessions.
If you need to stop to settle, feed or change your baby then please go right ahead, these classes are relaxed and fun, making them perfect for both mum & baby.
