Hi, I’m Laurie, a yoga instructor & pregnancy and postnatal exercise specialist with 7 years teaching experience, based in Shepton Mallet, Somerset.

My passion for yoga began right after I finished my degree. I’d been training in London in musical theatre and needed something that would keep my body strong and supple. I’d dip in and out of classes between contracts overseas. Soon the stresses of such an active career began to take their toll and I found myself turning to yoga on a more regular basis. Not just to benefit my body, but to benefit my mind. It became my release from day to day worries and was somewhere I could feel safe and present. The more I did yoga the more I understood that it was more than just poses, or asana, it was a system and a way of life. I hope through teaching yoga that I can encourage my students to take what they learn on the mat out into the wider world and use the power of yoga in their day to day activities to live more peaceful and present lives.
